How do I take Elimite?
Apply a generous amount of Elimite cream to the palm of your hands and massage it from the soles of your feet to your head. Children and older patients may require cream on the scalp. Remove the medication by washing after 8 to 14 hours of wear. You may need to repeat this process if you are still experiencing new or worsening symptoms.
Before taking Elimite, tell your doctor if:
- You are pregnant or plan to become pregnant

- You are allergic to any of the ingredients in Elimite
What are the possible side effects of taking Elimite?
You may experience side effects after you apply Elimite cream, such as: headaches, fever, dizziness, abdominal pain, diarrhea, nausea, or vomiting. You can minimize your risk for side effects by using Elimite as directed by your physician.
What if I forget to take a dose of Elimite?
You should apply Elimite once and only apply a second time if your symptoms do not improve. Do not apply more Elimite to your skin than instructed, as this can cause skin irritation.
