Prevident Information:
Prevident 5000 is a combination drug primarily using Fluoride. It is used to prevent tooth decay and boost dental health. It attaches to the teeth in order to strengthen them, as well as to help teeth resist acid and block bacteria’s cavity-forming action. Prevident 5000 is generally prescribed to those who live in homes without fluoridated water. It may, however, be prescribed for other uses. If this is the case, speak to your doctor and the risks and rewards of using Prevident 5000 for your condition.
Prevident 5000 comes in the form of a liquid, tablet, or a chewable tablet. It should be taken by mouth once a day. It is important that you follow the instructions on your medication’s label, as well as any given by your doctor. If there is anything about these instructions that you do not understand, ask your doctor before starting this drug. Never take more or less of Prevident 5000 than prescribed.
The liquid form of Prevident 5000 can be taken directly from the bottle, or it can be mixed with juice, cereal, or other foods. Use a dropper or syringe in order to properly measure your dose. The tablets can be dissolved in your mouth, chewed, or mixed with water or juice.
Prevident 5000 is meant to strengthen your teeth and prevent cavities, but it should not be used as a substitute for brushing and flossing.
